On November 9, 2022, IFMA San Diego hosted a luncheon focused on 2022 trends with a major impact on our future workspaces. Held at the Legacy International Center, attendees heard from John Scott, Haworth Inc.’s Senior Workplace Design Strategist, about how social factors, work demographics, shifting nature of work and other elements are key changes influencing the shift in workplace trends. The discussion also analyzed the rapid developments in innovative technology and resulting impacts on changes in the workplace, the current economic climate and how a growing emphasis on environmental conscientiousness is shaping how and where we work.
Our Speaker
With 24+ years in the industry, John Scott has extensive workplace design experience with a wide range of client and project types. Working with prominent A&D firms in the Midwest, he has developed strong expertise in the areas of workplace strategy, organizational culture, and design development. John’s focus is on the translation of workplace research into conceptual design recommendations. In his role, John helps clients understand the linkages between design and business performance. He collaborates with them to explore how new ways of working impact cultural and organizational change.
